Introduction

Overview

dataPro is a simple but powerful data conversion and data managing tool. It allows you to move tables across different databases and servers, migrate data from one platform to another. Currently dataPro works with MySql, MS Access, SqlServer and Oracle.

dataPro allows you to work with different databases, view, copy, move, download, upload and convert data.

  • System requirements

    You may need to download and install some additional drivers depending on what version of Windows is installed on your computer and the databases you intend to work with. Here is the guideline :

  • Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) are required for running dataPro. You can download them from Microsoft® web site. (Note: Windows Professional Edition 2000 or XP comes with MDAC).
  • You don't need to install MySQL client to use dataPro with the MySQL databases. dataPro installation includes libmySQL.dll from MySQL client software package to connect to MySQL server.
  • To use dataPro with Oracle you need to install Oracle Basic Instant Client Package. You can download Oracle Instant Client from the Oracle web site free of charge.
